One of the many options that you have with FumeFX is that you can use a Particle System as the source of your simulations (as explained in the section of this reference). However, Particle operators offer a way to control particle system over the course of its life by using the data from the simulated FumeFX grid. FumeFX comes with following operators: .
In order to use these operators you will first need to simulate FumeFX with exported velocities and to have a Particle System in your scene.
We also strongly recommend that particles are cached when using Particle Operators.
