Toolbar
NodeWorks Toolbar allows user to quickly access common operations.
- Undo
- Redo
- Choose the current workspace.
- Choose between Disabled, Interactive or Cache modes. If Disabled or Caches modes are selected, node evaluation will be completely disabled.
- Enable or disable automatic updates. When enabled, parameter changes will trigger a re-evaluation of the simulation.
- Click this button to restart the simulation.
- Single Frame mode ??? when enabled, NodeWorks evaluates only the current timeline frame and ignores all previous frames. Normally, changing a node parameter at (for example) frame 50 forces NodeWorks to re-simulate everything from the start of the simulation up to frame 50. With Single Frame enabled, the simulation is evaluated only when the current time slider frame is reached, and particle emission and motion are computed from a clean state for that frame alone.
This mode is ideal for look development and fine-tuning, allowing you to quickly adjust parameters on a specific frame without re-simulating the entire frame range. It is especially useful for inspecting emission, shading, or spatial relationships on isolated frames while keeping iteration fast.
