Command Panel

 

 

The command panel rollout contains quick access to display parameters as well as to particle interface options.

 

NodeWorks UI/Floater - This button opens the main NodeWorks user interface.

 

About FumeFX - Selecting this icon opens a dialog box that displays your FumeFX version. Inside this dialog you can also reauthorize the FumeFX or FumeFX SL.

 

 

Particles

Type - Choose the particles viewport display type.

 

Color - Each particle can be drawn in color as defined by the particle Group, Cluster, Color or Velocity.

 

Display % - Reduce the number of displayed particles.

 

 

Mesh

 

Type - Each particle can be assigned a shape, and this option allows you to control its display.

 

Vertex Color - Enable this option to display vertex colors.

 

Selected Faces - Enable this option to display selected faces.

 

 

Splines

 

Display Splines ??? Enable this option to display splines.

 

 

Particle Interface

Group RegEx - This option allows users to select particle groups and PBD liquid particles for integration with third-party plugins like tyFlow. Use a regular expression to filter NodeWorks particle groups that you want to expose to 3^rd party plugins.

Example: Group.* -  this will use all particles with their name starting with Group, like Group 1, Group 2 etc.
