texmap

 

 

This node lets you evaluate up to two texture maps at specific position and UVW coordinate. 3D maps like noise doesn't require UVW coordinate while 2D maps do.

 

 

[Inputs]

 

#Particle Stream - This pin requires a particle stream to be connected. Connection is usually not required if any of the attributes is connected.

 

Enabled - Enable or disable node evaluation.

 

Texmap 1 - First texture map you want to evaluate. Click on this button to open the 3ds max material browse window to select a texmap. Right click on this button for more options.

 

Texmap 2 - Second texture map you want to evaluate. Click on this button to open the 3ds max material browse window to select a texmap. Right click on this button for more options.

 

#Position - Connect a world space position located on the object where you want to evaluate texmap.

 

#UVW - Connect a UVW coordinate located on the object where you want to evaluate texmap.

 

 

[Outputs]

 

Color 1 - Texmap 1 color.

 

Intensity 1 - A monochrome evaluation of the texmap 1.

 

Color 2 - Texmap 2 color.

 

Intensity 2 - A monochrome evaluation of the texmap 2.
