element shatter
This node lets you extract elements from the shape. Elements are objects that are added together by using mesh attach or similar operation.
[Inputs]
#Particle Stream - This pin requires a particle stream to be connected.
Enabled - Enable or disable node evaluation.
Particle Group - Generated particles will belong this this group. Particles in the input and output group must not be in the same group.
Activation
User can decide whether all elements will be detached at once or the process will be controlled..
Activation Type - Choose how fragments will be detached.
- None: All fragments will be detached.
- Particle Group: Use particles from different particle group as activators. Element will be detached if there is a particle within the Activation Distance from the face that is part of the element.
- Custom Position: Use custom position as activator. Element will be detached if there is a face within the Activation Distance from the Custom Position.
- Face Count: Elements whose face count is between minimum and maximum value is going to be detached.
- Element Area: Elements whose area is between minimum and maximum value is going to be detached.
- Element Volume: Elements whose volume is between minimum and maximum value is going to be detached.
Activation Group - Select activation particle group.
Custom Position - Enter position manually or connect other node, like Object Info's node Position output pin.
Activation Distance - Maximum distance between face and custom position or particle that will cause element to be detached.
Min Count - Minimum number of faces for the Face Count Activation Type.
Max Count - Maximum number of faces for the Face Count Activation Type.
Delete Parent if Empty - Enabling this option will delete parent (input) particle if all shapes are extracted from it.
Particles
Life Span - A life span of the generated particle.
Life Span Var % - Life Span variation.
Inherit Velocity % - Each element can inherit the initial object velocity.
Speed - User defined element speed.
Speed Var % - Element speed variation.
Direction - Element velocity direction.
Direction Var % - Element velocity direction variation.
Density - Particle density. Particle mass is computed from shape volume and density.
Density Var % - Density variation.
Seed - Random number generator seed value.
