arnold properties

 

 

Use this node to set particle shape rendering properties. It works with Arnold Instance and Arnold Reference node shapes.

 

 

[Inputs]

 

#Particle Stream - This pin requires a particle stream to be connected.

 

Enabled - Enable or disable node evaluation.

 

Motion Blur From Velocity - Enable this option for shapes where topology changes between frames or particle gets deleted. NodeWorks will be able to handle most cases like cloth, face shatter, splines and isurf, but if you notice any shape where motion blur isn't working, make sure to enable this option.

 

 

Shadows

Set Shadows - When enabled, you will be able to set shape's shadows properties for Arnold renderer.

 

Cast Shadows - Choose if shape will cast shadows to other objects.

 

Receive Shadows - Choose if shape will receive shadows from other objects.

 

Self Shadows - Choose if shape will receive its own shadow.

 

 

Visibility

Set Visibility - When enabled, you will be able to set shape's visibility properties for Arnold renderer.

 

Camera - Choose if shape will be visible to the camera. This flag will work with other renderers as well.

 

Diffuse Transmit - Choose if shape will be visible to the diffuse transmission rays.

 

Specular Transmit - Choose if shape will be visible to the specular transmission rays.

 

Diffuse Reflect - Choose if shape will be visible to the diffuse reflection rays.

 

Specular Reflect - Choose if shape will be visible to the specular reflection rays.

 

Volume Scatter - Choose if shape will be visible to the volume scattering rays.

 

Subsurface Scatter - Choose if shape will be visible to the subsurface scattering rays.
