face shatter
This node will remove faces from the input shape. Each fragment will become a shape assigned to generated particle.
[Inputs]
#Particle Stream - This pin requires a particle stream to be connected. Connection is usually not required if any of the attributes is connected.
Enabled - Enable or disable node evaluation.
Particle Group - Generated particles will belong to this this group. Group is automatically created. Particles in the input and output group must not be in the same group.
Activators
Activation By Particle - Particles that belong to a certain group and that are specified Activation Distance from the face will activate it.
Activation Group - Select activation particle group.
Activation Distance - Maximum distance between face and particles from Activation Group that can cause face activation
Activation By Position - Enabled face activation by a user defined position.
Custom Position - Enter position manually or connect other node, like Object Info's node Position output pin.
Activation Distance - Maximum distance between face and custom position that can cause face activation.
Creation Method
Selected Faces - Only selected faces can be activated for shatter. Other faces will bit be taken into consideration.
Polygon Mode - The basic element of mesh is a triangle. However, triangles can be organized into polygons such as quads. When selected, shatter will preserve polygons so quads will remain quads for example.
Min Count - Minimum number of elements (triangles or polygons) that can be activated together and form a new shape.
Min Count Var % - Minimum Count variation.

Shattered Shape
Extrude Fragments - Enable this option if you want to add volume to fragments.
Top Offset - Extrudes faces in the face normal direction.
Top Offset Var % - Top Offset variation.
Top Tapper- You can add tapper to the extruded fragments.
Bottom Offset - Extrudes faces in the opposite direction of the face normal.
Bottom Offset Var % - Bottom Offset variation.
Bottom Tapper- You can add tapper to the extruded fragments.
Top Material ID- Material ID of the extruded top faces.
Bottom Material ID- Material ID of the extruded bottom faces.
Side Material ID- Material ID of the extruded side faces.

Source Shape
Remove at Source - This option will remove faces from the source object as they shatter and reconstruct a new surface at the user defined depth. If Remove Depth is set to 0.0, then faces will be completely removed from the source shape.
Remove Depth % - This option is closely tied to the Shattered Shape/Bottom Offset parameter. Value of 100% means that the source shape will have a dent deep exactly as the value of the extrude bottom offset. This option requires that Extrude Fragments is enabled.
Bottom Material ID- Material ID of the bottom faces.
Side Material ID- Material ID of the side faces.

Particles
Life Span - A life span of the generated particle.
Life Span Var % - Life Span Variation.
Speed - Particle Speed.
Speed Var % - Speed variation.
[Outputs]
Particle Stream - New particles with fragments as shapes will be sent to this output.
