texmap gradient

Evaluate 3ds max texmap to retrieve colors and gradient at specific location.

[Inputs]

#Particle Stream - This pin requires a particle stream to be connected. Connection is usually not required if any of the attributes is connected.

Enabled - Enable or disable node evaluation.

Texmap - A texmap you want to evaluate. Click on this button to open the 3ds max material browse window to select a texmap. Right click on this button for more options.

Samples - In order to retrieve a texture color gradient this node require multiple samples around the sampling point. Higher samples count results in better accuracy.

Sample Distance - Maximum distance around the sampling location.

Inverse Direction - Inverses a gradient direction.

Normal - Normal at the evaluation location.

#UVW - Connect a UVW coordinate located on the object where you want to evaluate texmap.

#dPdU - Connect s dPdU pin with follow surface or object test node output.

#dPdV - Connect s dPdV pin with follow surface or object test node output.

[Outputs]

Color - Texmap color.

Intensity - A monochrome evaluation of the texma

Color - Texmap color.

minDirection - A direction of minimum gradient.

maxDirection - A direction of maximum  gradient.
