Arnold/VRay Volume Grid



FumeFX features a convenient Arnold and VRay Volume Grid shader for simplified volume grid rendering. This setup enables the rendering of FumeFX .vdb caches using Arnold GPU or VRay GPU. The shader automatically configures the Volume Grid path, channel assignment, and synchronizes the Volume Grid cache path with any changes made to the FumeFX cache path.

Note: Arnold/VRay Volume Grid has limited support for the GPU Viewport Display and volume material representation is just an approximation.
