FumeFX-Arnold Volume

The FumeFX-Arnold Volume is very similar in functionality to the Arnold Volume Object. It is actually an object that loads FumeFX caches and provides channel access to the Arnold's shader network. Integration within the FumeFX grid allows intuitive support of all the cache manipulation options.

FumeFX-Arnold Volume supports Draft Mode option from the FumeFX dialog which allows faster rendering of FumeFX grid at reduced resolution and lower memory consumption.

Note: FumeFX-Arnold volume does not have support for the GPU Viewport Display, so users will have to use Voxel Data Display to preview fluid motion.

Parameters

Smoke - Select this option if you are using smoke channel inside the Arnold Standard Volume material.

Channel - Arnold name: Smoke

Sharpen Strength - This is the sharpening strength of the smoke channel.

Sharpen Radius - The radius of the sharpen filter in voxels. Values below 1.0 could produce artifacts unless the Sharpen Strength value is lowered.

Fire/Fuel - Select this option if you are using fire or fuel channel inside the Arnold Standard Volume material.
